Vizrt organised a Summer Step Challenge for its employees during Plastic Free July.
The company hosted a steps event on Climategames from 1-31 July whereby all of its employees steps helped removed plastic from the ocean. The aim of the event was to engage people in plastic removal and encouraging them to be active at the same time.
Linked to Plastic Free July, the Summer Step Challenge was a successful and engaging challenge which blended movement with environmental action in an impactful way.
- 10.66 million steps amassed in one month
- 45kg of plastic removed from the ocean
- Supported The Ocean Clean Up project
- Leaderboard winner accrued an impressive 706,320 steps
“Our Climategames steps challenge was really engaging and it was great to discover a new way of celebrating movement and the environment. We are proud to have removed 45kg of plastic from the ocean through The Great Ocean Clean Up project.
