RaceNation, a leading event registration and fundraising solution, today announced its partnership with Climategames.
Event organisers using the RaceNation platform can now choose to switch on a new climate impact feature enabling them to integrate environmental impact into their event experience.
Through the Climategames API integration, organisers can support over 50 verified ecological projects including tree planting, plastic removal, coral reef restoration and carbon sequestration.
The partnership enables events of any size to integrate sustainability into their registration process, giving organisers a simple way to take responsibility for their environmental footprint while also creating an additional touchpoint with participants, empowering them to contribute to positive climate action simply by entering their events.
It's not just about organisers, either.
Participants looking for races can now choose events which align with their own environmental values, which are sustainability conscious and which are taking responsibility of their footprint.
The collaboration marks a significant step forward in RaceNation's platform offering and highlights the growing role of event organisers in building more sustainable events.
Will Golder, CEO at RaceNation said: “At RaceNation, we’re focused on building technology that goes beyond the basics of registration and data management. This partnership reflects our commitment to giving organisers the tools they need to create the events of the future - where innovation, impact, and experience sit at the heart of every entry. When we empower organisers with smarter technology, the entire industry moves forward.”
"We are excited to join the RaceNation ecosystem and help events seamlessly attach climate impact to their ticket sales and help restore the planet,” said Martin Lacey, CEO and Founder of Climategames.
“We’re on a mission to make it easy for businesses of all sizes to be part of the climate solution and empower them to make the sustainable choice.”
