Climategames recognises that well-vetted, carbon and ecological solutions can help reduce climate change, but they cannot 'solve' the problem on their own.

Climategames helps reduce climate impact

Ecological solutions need to be combined with rapid cuts to greenhouse gas emissions as well as innovative forms of carbon removal. Climategames exists to give people an accessible and engaging way to make their contribution to tackling some of these areas.

It is estimated that cost-effective nature-based solutions could contribute between 20%-40%* of the mitigation needed between now and 2050 to keep global warming below 2°C.
